PLAGIARISM POLICY

Plagiarism Screening

The editorial team conducts plagiarism checks manually (using offline and online databases) on the title, abstract, and body of the manuscript, and also using Turnitin.
If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be immediately rejected.

Review Workflow

  1. Editor receives the manuscript from the author.
  2. Editor evaluates the manuscript (journal scope, author guidelines, and required supplementary files). Rejected if it does not meet basic criteria.
  3. Editor screens the manuscript for plagiarism manually and using Turnitin. Rejected if major plagiarism is found. Authors will be contacted for clarification if minor similarity is detected.
  4. Editor sends the manuscript to two reviewers along with the review form (blind review).
  5. Reviewers return their review forms to the editor (with a revised manuscript if necessary).
  6. Editor makes a decision, which may be: Rejected, Major revision, Minor revision, or Accepted.
  7. Editor sends the decision to the author.
  8. If revision is required, authors must submit the revised manuscript without delay. Manuscripts returned after three months will be treated as new submissions.
